Recently I have been waking up 2 hours before work to go to the gym ⏰ . Here’s what I’ve noticed:
1. I am more mentally alert and ready to perform. I don’t have to fight the grogginess in the morning 🧠
2. I don’t have to worry about working out right after a long and exhausting day 💪🏾
3. It’s self care! I am happier, focused, and overall excited about the day 🧘🏽♂️
4. As weird as it sounds, waking up and exercising early gives me more energy. It helps me survive those 12 1/2 hour shifts. 🏃🏽 5. Empty gyms. Who doesn’t like empty gyms?
Hopefully I can keep doing this when I switch to night-shift 🌙
